In this course, we will explore all about managing learner behaviour in a classroom. Managing the behaviour of our students is very important in order to ensure all students are learning. We do not have to ‘punish’ students to ensure they behave. There are so many strategies we as teachers can use to ensure students behave well, not because they HAVE to, but because they WANT to. In this course, we will identify why learners misbehave and the importance of behaviour management. We will also introduce a simple behaviour management strategy called the Behaviour Management Cycle (BMC) to manage learner behaviour in classrooms.
