Reports, projects, and, group presentations are increasingly becoming a major component of school assignments, especially with NEP 2020 vision of making education more inquiry-driven and experiential. But how do we effectively and accurately provide feedback and grading for such subjective assessments? And most importantly, how should we inform students of their performance and help them reflect? The answer is RUBRICS – a holistic assessment tool that helps in measuring students’ success across various components of a subjective assessment. In this course, we will try to understand the link between subjective assessments and rubrics and the various aspects of a well-defined rubric.
