II. Putting together the right materials
While creating resources, it is important to be able to put together the right materials using the vast online resources available to us as teachers.
The right materials for a class can be of two types:
- Those already available on the internet (YouTube videos/articles etc.)
- Those which are created by you (an audio/video recording, an infographic created by you etc.)
Let’s begin by understanding how you can find existing relevant and specific materials on the internet. Watch the video below to understand how to make a targeted search for content online.
Some other useful things to keep in mind as you search for and collect material from the internet is:

Bookmarking: bookmark resources that you find interesting or useful and want to come back to so that you don’t miss anything

Using the correct typography: To find social media resources, put an ‘@’ symbol before you type. Put the search keywords in double inverted commas “like this” if you want to get results that exactly match the search.
