Creating a feedback survey
8 Characteristics of a good feedback survey:
- Evokes the truth. Ask for an answer in only one dimension.
- Can accommodate all possible choice of answers. A good practice is to allow for multiple responses.
- Flow well from the previous question.
- Does not imply a desired answer. Remember to use objectivity in your questions.
- Do not ask the respondent to rank more than five items in a given series.
- Put personal questions at the end of the survey.
- Give respondents the option to not answer the question.
- Use one or two open-ended questions. This invokes direct, well thought out answers.
